The Arc of Howard County, a non-profit that serves people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, is seeking a dynamic Recruiter to help us change people's lives! We are seeking an enthusiastic self-starter to recruit passionate caregivers and healthcare professionals as well as administrative staff.
The ideal candidate will relish the opportunity to serve the people we support by utilizing vigorous and creative recruitment strategies to advance our person-centered mission.
Candidates must have a broad knowledge of social media recruitment mediums, excellent communication skills - orally and written, and the ability to work with a diverse group of agency stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Three years' experience in Recruitment, with Human Service Recruitment experience preferred.
Highly organized and detail oriented.
Strong employee relations skills:
ability to interact effectively with staff at all levels.
Proficient using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
Motivated to seek new solutions to to hiring challenges and creativityAbility to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working with a diverse workforce and in a non-profit environment a plus.
Successful completion of a background check, drug screen and reference check,.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
